the name originally was a web address that was a lot longer. a friend of ours, charlie mann, set up a GUYVE page on the web a long time ago(1997-ish). it was a nice little site with mp3s and nice streaming visuals. anyways, we constructed this demo album and made the name of it the same as our website to try to get some traffic going to the site. several versions of the album art were released and by far this is the most circulated GUYVE CD other than Baltash, Panache, & Flying Colors. some of the art variations include uniquely cut sections of a huge GUYVE poster folded to fit the case. another was a snail mail friendly postcard-like version, where the post office box numbers and postmarked stamps became part of the art. most likely there are at least a dozen package art variations for this release. the current, and final packaging, depicts a pixelated close up of our huge poster and on the inside it has the huge poster shrunk down so you can see it all. the songs on this disc are pretty varied. accoustic stuff, keyboard stuff, zany vocal effects stuff. we made a trip to seattle for a couple of pro recordings and they ended up on this disc. most of the stuff was recorded at home and through experiments with our equipment and various substances. this disc also was the first self released GUYVE CD. everything up to this point had been on tapes. we purchased our own burner and things havent been the same since. there are a myriad of guest appearances on this album ranging from fred, our beloved old roommate, to jacob, a 3 year old with a hankering to play the drums. and the song Pip Hit Hooray, well, lets just say its a masterpiece. all improv, no second takes, all live. the only overdubs are from a record player and a manipulated flatulant. .

This CD marks an era in GUYVE where the sound finally starts to become a little clearer and slightly better quality. we enlisted the help on an 8 track mixing board and were able to EQ things a little more. this album is a compilation of songs ranging from professional studio 24 track in seattle to living room, home studio accomadations.
