wow........where to start with this one. our most experimental release to date. each song has a story. all the songs were compiled during GUYVE's hiatus from performing during 2000-2001. the first song is something cam recorded in his tin garage in wolf point montana. loud and long. reminisent of montana winters. there is a track where our good friend ryan ruhd couragously inhales 32 knife hits for 3 overdubbed tracks of coughing mania. the CD titles the track as 'cougher' but for the inside scoop.......the original and still intended name of the track is '32 punches to the lung'. cam does a 4 part vocal harmony on the 'leit motia' trilogy. And if thats not enough atypical GUYVE material for ya....there is an all out documentation of an asthma attack during the fire season of 2000, and an argument with a guy soliciting his views about jonah and "where im gonna go when i die". this album is very different from all the other GUYVE releases. maybe drums on only one track of this record. the cd artwork is nice and bright. the front cover tree picture was from our yard at 2941 eaton st in missoula. we thought it symbolic somehow. the house was inspiring beyond anything we could have ever imagined. a lot of music and a lot of analytical audio experimentation occured and it was underneath those two trees that it all took place. the inside picture of the single leaf is from a psychedelic experience where a piece of paper wasnt present so a leaf had to do. wierd album. classic. .

Sounds Like
once again, as is with most of our 'releases', this album is a compilation of various recordings from various times and places. boom box to 4 tracks mixed and mastered. we were getting good with our recording techniques by this point and it shows. OVERALL SOUND QUALITY= B+/A-
